Presented by New Gen Artistry and facilitated by Cathy Nguyen
11:30am - 12:30pm
How to get involved: Book now to attend this free workshopThere's no established roadmap for building a career in the Australian music industry - so Cathy built her own. From singer, to music teacher, to booking agent, to founder of New Gen Artistry, this workshop traces the real, unfiltered journey behind the business: the "fake it till I make it" mindset, a national tour she and her artist put together themselves, and how a bold declaration at SXSW London turned into New Gen Artistry's own showcase on a global stage. It's an honest look at how to stop waiting for opportunities and start creating them yourself.

Timomatic also covers mic technique, transitions, stage presence, adapting to different venues and audiences, and what to do when things don’t go to plan.
