Conscious CONNECTS: Music Industry Intensive was an annual skills development event for aspiring and practicing artists and music industry workers in Western Sydney and beyond.
In 2025, Conscious CONNECTS levelled up and took place over two days to provide tailored support for practitioners at varying stages of their journey in the music industry:
DISCOVER: Saturday 14 June 2025

Tailored to aspiring artists and those interested in pursuing a career in the music industry, DISCOVER invited participants to inspire their creativity, find out more about pathways available, and kick off their journeys in the music scene!
This drop-in style event had practical activities, specialised workshops, advice stations and live performances. DISCOVER provided opportunities for attendees to create, learn and connect, offering valuable guidance for the next generation of creative talent.

Tailored to practicing artists already releasing music, performing regularly or actively working in the industry, this upskilling intensive provided insights from and networking opportunities with leading industry professionals, guiding participants for future success!
UPSKILL featured three intensive sessions that explored different aspects of the music industry, as well as networking opportunities and live music embedded throughout the event. Participants gained practical skills, insights from industry professionals, engaged in hands-on activities, and received take-home resources to level up their practice.
